HAIR TRANSPLANT
Hair transplantation is a surgical procedure that involves moving hair follicles from one part of the body, typically the back or sides of the scalp, to the areas where hair is thinning or balding. The transplanted hair follicles continue to grow hair in the new location, providing a natural-looking and long-lasting solution for hair loss.
There are two main types of hair transplantation procedures: follicular unit transplantation (FUT) and follicular unit extraction (FUE). FUT involves removing a strip of scalp from the donor area and then dissecting it into individual follicular units, which are then transplanted to the recipient area. FUE involves removing individual hair follicles directly from the donor area and transplanting them to the recipient area.
Hair transplantation is generally considered a safe and effective procedure, with a high success rate and low risk of complications. Before a Hair Transplant Operation
Once booking and confirmation has been done for the client, Hotel & Transfers are arranged and the patient is informed about the requisites and the patient is advised on the operation procedures.
The most important step before the operation is the determination of the hairline. Within the patient’s natural limits, the hairline should be determined.
During a Hair Transplant Operation
Here at Oktay Yavuz, we normally take all precautions before any surgery. FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is preferred for most clients because it is painless and leaves no scars, and with this surgery and the client adhering to every advice given to by the doctor, a 99% guarantee is assured that the client will be happy in the end.
After the Hair Transplant Operation
After the procedure, the client is given the shampoo and treatment to keep up until the hair shows healthy treatment. Three days after the surgery the patient should rest at home or hotel while the planting area (Area of Surgery) must not come into contact with water or any other objects and the sleeping position should be on the back. On the third day, the transplantation area is washed with special shampoos given to the patients in the hospital and the process is explained to them. Patients should wash the area with the special shampoos every evening for about one week, after which they can do their routine activities.
